Well to start off you have to know the basics, Since I’m learning too I’m not a 100% sure if I’m right.
The alphabet is:
ㄱ ㄴ ㄷ ㄹ ㅁ ㅂ ㅅ ㅇ ㅈ ㅊ ㅋ ㅌ ㅍ ㅎ
There are 14 letters (count ‘em)
The Vowels are:
ㅏ ㅑ ㅓ ㅕ ㅗ ㅛ ㅜ ㅠ ㅡ ㅣ ㅐ
Then you add them together to make words.
For example:
김 누 리 (my name in korean)
It’s really confusing but they all make certain sounds and mean certain things
for starters I would learn Regular every day words like:
Umma (mom)
Appa (Dad)
anyoung (Hey)
Oppa (A girl addressing an older guy)
Hyung (A guy adressing an older guy)
Unni (A girl adressing an older girl)
Noona (A guy adressing an older girl)
Nae Irumun ________ (My name is ___________)
